Wichtel / secret santa

Ich hasse es schon zu Weihnachten - umso mehr bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen.
Tochter brauchte es für die Pfadfinder. Ich habe eine Karte dazu gemacht ... ich hoffe, sie landet trotz allem nicht ohne Umweg im Mülleimer ... :-D


I hate it for Christmas - and all the more with midsummery temperatures outside ... but daughter no. 1 needed one for her scouts trip on the Whitsun weekend. I made a card (they're planning some stuff concerning Christmas ... don't know) and hope it doesn't end up in the dustbin right away, though ... LOL

stamps: oxford impressions (fish), cherry pie (wings), Tim Holtz, acapella.

endlich bin ich mal wieder dazu gekommen, eine Kleinigkeit zu machen - unter widrigen Umständen *seufz*
So finde ich denn auch, dass irgendwas noch fehlt ...

Finally I found some time to make another little card, in unfavourable circumstances. I think there's a little something missing on this one but I don't know what exactly ...

Uuups, mir ist gerade gedämmert, dass diese Karte zu Iris' derzeitiger Challenge 'embosst, egal wie' passt; der obere Teil der Karte (man sieht es nicht wirklich) ist mit einem Christmas-Folder geprägt und das Zahnrad ist auch geprägt.

Ooops, I just noticed that this card fits for Irishteddy's current challenge 'embossing, no matter how'. The top half of the background is embossed with a christmas folder and the gearwheel too, with - tadaaaaaaaaaaah - a gearwheel folder *lol*

fiese Karte / a 'mean' card

Das war vielleicht eine Aktion ... ich war ein paar Mal drauf und dran, die Karte in die Tonne zu kloppen ... aber nun geht es, finde ich.

This one took some doing ... I felt like throwing the card into the dust bin several times. But now I think it's quite okay ;o)

Ehm, it's not for me ;o) if that makes any difference LOL

Und hier wollte ich eigentlich versuchen, aus dem Motiv ein Gespenst/Geist zu machen ... das ATC gefällt mir, auch wenn es nicht so ganz das Ergebnis ist, was ich erhofft hatte.

Here I wanted to create something like a phantom/ghost ... I like this ATC although it turned out different from what I had in mind.

es schneit ... / let it snow ...

Ich habe diese Karte grad schnell für einen Adventskalender gemacht, das DP gefällt mir so gut und die Empfängerin mag gerne blau ;o) und sie passt rein zufällig zu Iris' derzeitiger Challenge 'let it snow'.

I just made this quick card for an advent calendar, I love the design paper and the person who will get it likes blue very much.
It's my entry for Irishteddy's challenge 'let it snow'.
