Hello and good morning all you crafty people out there ...
I'm sharing cards 3 – 6 for the De Craftorij Summer Challenge 2014:
#3: mosaic
(after I'd taken the photo I outlined the mosaic tiles with a slightly darker matching color to give it a bit of depth)
#4: black and white + another color:
#5: numbers:
and #6: use some wrapping/package (I cut a stencil from the package the TH die came in):
Many, many thanks for your much appreciated visit.
Have a nice Pentecost break, everyone.
Hugs, Suzanne xxx

Assignment #2: Coffee and/or Tea
Hi all ..
Second day of the Summer Challenge 2014 run by De Craftorij.
This time I made two cards for the Summer Challenge 2014 by De Craftorij because I couldn't bring my ideas together on one.
I definitely prefer coffee, btw. I don't like tea at all :-)
For the first card I used the crones tea party image for the first time (although I suspect they don't only have tea *hehe*) - I almost had forgotten about it.
background: the card was misted with water, splodged with distress stain and then I pressed another card onto it. Splatters of water were added, a bit of panpastel und some perfect pearls mist. The stamp images are by: Cherry Pie (full moon, bat, cemetery, tree, sentiment, crones tea party), Oxford Impressions (poppy).
This background is made by spreading acrylic paint over a card with a brayer and a credit card.
bg stamp Tim Holtz and a scribble by Prima Marketing. Woman by hampton arts, hand and hand with handreading signs by de stempelwinkel.
It's great fun so far .-D
Thank you so much for paying a visit to my blog.

Summer challenge at De Craftorij
Hi all.
I'm taking part in the Summer Challenge run by the Dutch stamp shop De Craftorij - some very talented and imaginative ladies set up a Facebook group for those crafty people who'd like to join.
Each day there's a new little challenge or an assignment which you're asked to make an index card on. To collect those I made this box the other day.
To keep our fingers flexible there have been some warming ups like
card with a flap or envelope
inchies
circles
simple card with Stampotique image
... and the first assignment today was or still is 'droplets':
It's running for two months and I'm curious at how far I get with my job and everyday life around here ...
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a good week.

more leftovers still ... assembling scraps
Hi all,
I fell ill again - guess it was for too long that I've been well :-( and I'm only able to play around a little with some more scraps I dug up. So I decided to make this a more frequent thing (if not regular) together with those cards I already made now and then for the last weeks.
found: the background with the pattern stamps and the word 'industrial' (some patterned paper, gessoed up and stamped, if I recall correctly), piece of a butterly wing, cut out girl, gelli printed washi tape.
added: the steampunk machine Stempelwinkel image SW R12102, the red gelli collage elements (leftovers from my Mother's day card), the eye (from an I*EA TAG, colored with a wash of acrylic ink).
found:
the background (sprayed with Dylusion sprays, water and a letter stencil), piece of a gelli print, scrap from a die cut TH weathered clock.
added: Stampotique stamp - heat embossed with white ep, scrap is colored with distress stain black soot, Dylusion stamps leaves, words, some of the leaves are colored in slightly with neocolor II wax crayons.
Lia, the kindest and most wonderful owner of the Dutch stamp and mixed media shop de Craftorij and her very busy and creative team have set up a Facebook group some time ago, where the teamies have several mini challenges and other stuff going on. Much worth visiting, I'm highly recommending it.
The second card is for the Tuesday mini (Stampotique) challenge, run by Coby van Willigenburg, which this time is: use just one stencil (and at least one Stampotique image) - it's the letter stencil in the background you can hardly recognise :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by and having a look.
Have a good time everyone.
