black is beautiful

Sorry all ... it's been a long time, I know. Life is just unpredictable and gets in my way too often at the moment.
Anyway. All that talk with Iris about pan pastels inspired me to make a small TAG booklet on black paper.

All images on the covers, inside and out, are from Brett Weldele, those on the TAGs from de stempelwinkel. They are stamped with versamark ink and coloured with pan pastels.
The pockets are coin envelopes made from black sturdy paper, stencilled with interference acrylic paints.

Haul ;-)

Hello all, my second post for today ...
I've been at my local and favorite scrapbook- and stamp shop today to fetch something I've ordered online.

When I arrived I was presented with this (and I think it's too funny and cute not to share ;-)):

I so LOVE this little shopping basket - I'd have loved nothing better than taking it with me, but I've been observed too closely LOL

Of course it couldn't be left at that ... more things magically started to hop in ... and in the end I left the shop with those goodies

Time

Eigentlich hätte das was ganz Anderes werden sollen ... es war ein Test für eine Karte für die Art Journey Challenge. Dafür war es dann aber eh zu spät und so wurde daraus dann ein ungeplant ziemlich türkiser Beitrag für @Irishteddy's Challenge "Zeit(-Umstellung".

This should have turned out completely different, actually. It was a test for the Art Jornal challenge, which asked for 'turqoise'. It was too late, though, so it is now my unexpected rather turqoise entry for @Irishteddy's Challenge "time (change)".

Frühling / spring

Endlich scheint die Sonne und in einigen Challenges ist das Thema Frühling.
Da ich kein Freund von 'ein Eintrag für dreiundzwölfzig Challenges' bin ist diese Karte für @Irishteddy's und Crazy Amigo.

Finally the sun crawled out of its hiding place and so the theme for several challenges is 'spring'. Since I don't like to enter one project into a vast number of different challenges this card is just for @Irishteddy's and Crazy Amigo.

For the butterfly I cut out two flower heads by Darkroomdoor.

Ich habe diese Karte grad schnell für einen Adventskalender gemacht, das DP gefällt mir so gut und die Empfängerin mag gerne blau ;o) und sie passt rein zufällig zu Iris' derzeitiger Challenge 'let it snow'.

ein Ei für Irishsteddy / an egg for Irishteddy's challenge

bei Irishteddy's soll diesmal nicht koloriert werden.
Ich habe heute einige ATCs gemacht und entscheide mich für das Ei, weil bald Ostern ist :-)

'no colouring' is Irishteddy's current challenge. Today I made several ATCs and I decided for the egg because easter is ahead :-)
