Summer challenge at De Craftorij

Hi all.
I'm taking part in the Summer Challenge run by the Dutch stamp shop De Craftorij - some very talented and imaginative ladies set up a Facebook group for those crafty people who'd like to join.
Each day there's a new little challenge or an assignment which you're asked to make an index card on. To collect those I made this box the other day.
To keep our fingers flexible there have been some warming ups like

... and the first assignment today was or still is 'droplets':

It's running for two months and I'm curious at how far I get with my job and everyday life around here ...

digging for roses / nach Rosen graben

Nicht wundern, der "Titel" kam mir genau so ins Hirn gesprungen wie die Karte selbst ...

... the 'sentiment' suddenly popped into my brain like the rest of the card LOL – I love those cards that just come flowing through the fingertips.
I made a few backgrounds these days, tried something Godelieve shows on her blog for example (on this bg I flipped the stencil over and pressed it down to get the remaining gesso from the template onto the card). This is a card I made:

Afterwards I wondered if there aren't too much images on that one, but I decided to like it exactly this way :-)

und schon wieder eine Geburtstagskarte und ein kleines ATC / another birthday card and an ATC

Wieder hat mich eine Kollegin gebeten, eine Geburtstagskarte zu machen, diesmal für einen 65. Die Karte hat mich Nerven gekostet ... und sieht doch nach wenig aus *heul*

Und ein kleines ATC zum Thema 'Jugend' - hoffe ich wenigstens :-)


Again a coworker asked me to make a birthday card. For a 65th this time. This card made me feel desperate and now it looks rather poor ... *wails*
And I made a little ATC which hopefully can be associated with 'youth' ;o)
