Hello and good morning,
some time ago I thought about making
a card into a notebook cover ...
Voilà, here it is:
front
(I didn't adhere the lock yet)
front inside
two dividers so far
back inside and outside
The attentive observers among you may notice that the back cover is upside down - that's no mistake of course, I just learned
it is an 'Ooops', nothing else :-D
For the outside of the covers I primed grungepaper with distress paints peeled paint and antiqued bronze. Onto the front cover I mounted the card, on the back I pulled some gelli prints, added a few stamps by paper artsy, stamped one of them onto a dictionary page I pulled a gelli print with precviously (see also inside front cover).
The inside covers are gelli prints, as well as the dividers. I sealed everything with matte medium.
Now there are just the blank pages to be added :-) and I think I'll add also two more dividers. I didn't make up my mind yet if I will add something onto the dividers as well ...
--------------------
And of course for each print I make because I want to use it for something specific there are several more as byproducts LOL
I'm entering this into the
Simon says Stamp and Show challenge which is 'inspired by' this time.
My gelli printing is inspired by
Carolyn Dube and
Patti Tolley Parrish; I'm definitely the 'messy' kind of gelli printer - no offense to those two very talented artists :-D
I'm also entering this into
Carolyn's Gelli Plate Party.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Hugs, Suzanne xxx
