two cards with gelli plate backgrounds

Hi and hello everyone out there ...
I haven't done much crafting lately for different reasons, but I made two cards with some of my many many gelli prints.
One as an addition for snail-mail I have to send

(stamps by kaisercraft, Dyan Reaveley, acapella stempel)

and one on commission for a coworker I don't really know. Brown, gold, and radio were the hints. Brown doesn't really inspire me and I don't have a radio image either. But someone else told me she (the coworker) also likes all things maritime, so I made this card:

blue - poems

so far the hints.
I've been asked to make a birthday card for a person I don't know.

The background is made with Dylusion sprays and some inka gold turqoise sponged through a stencil. Then I stamped the script with versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. At last I spritzed a little glimmer mist pearl onto the background.
Stamps are by de stempelwinkel, impressions obsessions, cherry pie

I did on commission for coworkers.
They're no typical cards with congrats on them and such, I always try to personalize them.

This one looks a bit strange, but let me assure you it fits for the person concerned :-)

the crown is more coppery, actually ..

And this one is a very personal one, not really a birthday card but an idea that came to my mind ...

Panpastel

Ich gestehe: mich hat es auch erwischt. Ich experimentiere. Mal wieder ein Geburtstag im Kollegenkreis.

I confess ... the panpastels got me, too. I'm experimenting. A birthday card again, for a coworker.

stamps: art journey (woman, birds), hero arts (balloon), creavil (birthday wishes)
(the background looks like a wallpaper of the 70ies LOL)

other attempts:

Ich habe das Weiß im nachhinein noch ein bisschen mit Distress Stain old paper abgedeckt. Kann ich leider nicht mehr knipsen ...

I softened the white a little bit with distress stains 'old paper' after I took the picture, can't show that because I don't have the card any more :-)
